Who exactly is Shawnife?

I’m Iseunife popularly known as Shawnife. A creative thinker, a Google certified Digital marketing strategist and brand influencer.


When and where were you born and raised?

I’m Nigerian by birth and British by descent. I was born on December 17th 1997. I am a founding member of the Digital Media Practitioners Of Nigeria (DMPN).


How did the name Shawnife come about?

I own Shawnife Media and through the years I’ve led and been involved in hundreds of Social Media campaigns and projects. These have been for brands like Nescafe, Google, Bolt, Silverbird, Quickteller, Access Bank, Premier Cool, Unilever, AMAA awards, KrispyKreme, Airtel, UBA, Abuja Chamber Of Commerce And Industry Nigeria (ACCiNigeria), Sigma Pensions, MTN, Cars45, Interswitch, CloseUp, First Bank, Cowrywise, Vconnect, Infinix, Coca Cola and many more.

Presently, I’m in the Google Nigeria’s select team Of Influencers, therefore I’m involved in launch events and press briefing. The most recent being The Google For Nigeria event in July, 2019. Furthermore, I am an ambassador for the Bolt brand.


What do most people know you for?

I am known for my creative posts on Twitter, especially during trending topics which constantly gets me tens of millions of monthly impressions on Twitter.

I’ve also worked alongside artistes like Reekado Banks, Mr. 2kay, CDQ, Mars and Barzini, King Bobby and was in charge of Social media promotions for Seyi Shay, Runtown, and more. Was a part of Trace’s media team for Adekunle Gold’s special pre-listening event for his About 30 album, Trace Live Falz, Trace Live Reekado. One of the most recent being a part of Trace’s team for Trace In The City, Ibadan. These are a part of the numerous musical arts I’ve been involved with.


When did you start loving traveling?

I’ve always loved traveling and exploring new places. Used to travel to different countries when I was younger. During the summer of 2019, I decided to see the world as much as possible, I started my travel brand (Shawnife Travels) after going between 5 countries (Spain, Turkey, US, UK and Nigeria) in 2 months, which gained a lot of buzz and was trending on Twitter NG with thousands of tweets and YouTube views. This showcases the beauty of seeing the world and encourages others to do so by organizing tours.
